Chains for submerged body conveying

Prior to receiving their final coating, all car bodies need to be cleaned off dirt and debris from previous production processes to obtain a good paint finish. This takes place in the so-called pre-treatment lines where the car bodies circulate through a series of dip tanks.
Afterwards, the car bodies move on to the ELPO (electrophoretic priming operation) lines to receive their base coat. In both operations, the bodies are totally submerged to make sure that no part is left untreated.
